Voice and video calls
Call one person or the whole family, encrypted just like your chats. Share your screen when it helps.
End-to-end encrypted· Made for Southeast Asia
Your chats and calls stay between you and the people you talk to. Not even we can read them.
Android and iPhone apps are coming soon. The computer version links to the app on your phone.
Private by design
Every message is locked on your device with keys that only the people in the chat hold. Our servers pass it along without being able to open it, and neither could anyone who intercepted it.

Our servers sit in Singapore, right next door. A message's round trip from these cities takes less time than blinking, which takes about a tenth of a second.

On a ferry, after a storm or in a packed stadium, turn on Firefly and ACC Chat passes your texts from phone to phone over Bluetooth until they reach the person you're writing to.

Questions
ACC Chat is a private messaging app for Southeast Asia, made by Smithery Technology PLT in Malaysia. It has one-to-one and group chats, voice and video calls, Moments, Circles and Broadcasts, and chats and calls between people are end-to-end encrypted.
No. Messages, photos, voice notes, files, shared locations, polls and calls between people are locked on your device and can only be unlocked on the devices of the people in the chat. Our servers pass them along without being able to open them. Two things work differently by design: Broadcasts are public, and a chat with a business that uses our Business API tells you when a hosted service can read it.
With Messaging Layer Security (MLS), the internet standard for end-to-end encryption in groups, published as RFC 9420. Each of your devices holds its own keys, so a message is sealed before it leaves your phone.
Yes. Open web.accchat.com on your computer and link it to ACC Chat on your phone by scanning a code. One account works on your phone and up to four more devices, such as a tablet or a computer.
Soon. We're testing both now, and we'll link them here as soon as they're out.
In Singapore, close to the people who use ACC Chat across Southeast Asia. A message's round trip from Kuala Lumpur takes about 7 milliseconds.
No. You can sign in with your email, and share a username instead of your number or email. Add a four-digit key to your username, and only people who know it can message you.
Firefly is how ACC Chat will send texts where there's no signal: from phone to phone over Bluetooth, sealed so only the people in the chat can read them. Nearby phones with Firefly on carry them along, and pass them to our server once they have signal. It stays off until you turn it on, and it's coming in a future update.
In the app, tap your picture at the top of Chats, then Delete account. Your account is deleted straight away, and copies in our own backups expire within 35 days. You can also ask us at support@accchat.com.
